Dr. Sabeena Ramnanan

    Dr. Sabeena Ramnanan is an audiologist dedicated to identifying and treating individuals with hearing loss. She dual-majored in speech and hearing sciences and psychology at the Macaulay Honors College at Brooklyn College, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in 2017. She earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the City University of New York Graduate Center in 2022. Dr. Ramnanan has worked in various clinical settings, gaining extensive experience working with hearing devices and assistive technology. Her passion for finding the best treatment options for her patients led her to become a provider for Earlens Hearing Center in Houston, Texas. A native of Queens, New York, Dr. Ramnanan has found comfort in southern living, appreciating the good food and family-oriented culture.     Born deaf in her right ear, Dr. Gillentine felt her struggles and frustrations would be an asset in helping others overcome hearing difficulties. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders in 1991 and a Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Oklahoma in 1993. She immediately went to work at University Hospital in San Antonio, TX., followed by stints in an ENT practice and private Audiology practice. Dr. Gillentine received her AuD (Doctor of Audiology) in 2004 From the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Also, in 2004, she became the Director of and implemented the newborn hearing screening program at Centennial Hospital in Frisco, TX, screening every newborn and NICU infant with Otoacoustic Emissions and/or Auditory Brain Stem Response. From 2000-2020 Dr. Gillentine, was Founder and CEO of Allen Hearing Clinic, a private Audiology practice with multiple locations with the flagship location in Allen, TX. Her passion for sharing the gift of hearing inspired her to create a Hear Saver program at her private practice where she provided a hearing aid to someone less fortunate for every pair of purchased hearing aids. This passion spanned the globe where she served on National and International hearing missions. Dr. Gillentine brings over 30 years of experience, knowledge, and compassion to bridge the ear-to-brain connection for the hearing impaired to Earlens Hearing Centers.     Dr. Keith Matheny is a Vanderbilt-trained Otolaryngologist in community practice in North Dallas, emphasizing Rhinology & Sleep in adults and children. 


    He has a passion for the business aspects of Otolaryngology, as well as new technology, pharmacotherapy & procedures in ENT.


    Dr. Matheny holds numerous patents & patents-pending on bioabsorbable, local drug-delivery implants for use in sinus and

    ear surgery, founding two device companies around these technologies, Septum Solutions & Otologic Solutions. 


    He is also the Founder/Chairman/CEO of US ENT Partners, an ENT-focused Group Purchasing Organization bringing savings of 20% or more on the high cost supplies that ENT physicians use in their office daily, as well as a Co-Founder of Sleep Vigil, a company pioneering the concept of Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) for sleep apnea. 


    Dr. Matheny has numerous journal publications and has given numerous presentations on his clinical research & on various topics related to the business of medicine over the last few decades. 


    As a creative outlet, Dr. Matheny makes custom, 3D-printed jewelry within his company Tuff-Links. He volunteers in his community providing charity clinics for multiple school districts around his practice, serving on the local YMCA Board, and as the otolaryngologist for the Dallas Cowboys.

Joyce Crawford

    Dr. Joyce Crawford has over 30 years of experience in audiology. After graduating from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill she joined the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps. Following 3 years of active- duty military service as an audiologist, she worked in a variety of medical settings to include Cleveland Clinic, Washington University School of Medicine, DoD Hearing Center of Excellence, St. Louis Children’s Hospital and House Ear Clinic. She has worked with all ages from newborn to senior citizens. She has expertise in diagnostics, cochlear implants, hearing aids and auditory processing disorders.

    Dr. Elizabeth Mitchell is not only the Regional Audiology Manager for Earlens Hearing Centers she is also one of the world’s leading Earlens experts. She has over 10 years of experience in Clinical Audiology and Audiology Research with over 5 of those years at Earlens. She completed her Doctorate in Audiology from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining Earlens Hearing Centers, she held positions at the National Center for Rehabilitative Research, House Research Institute, and one of the major manufacturers of traditional hearing aids.  Growing up with a mother with hearing loss exposed her to the challenges hearing loss can result in and the effects it can have on one’s quality of life. This made her realize at a young age that serving people with hearing loss was her calling. Peter Catalano

Largo, FL

  • Bio

    Peter Catalano, MD, FACS, FARS, graduated with a BS from Columbia University School of Engineering, followed by an MD degree from The Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine (MSH) in New York City.


    He completed Residency at MSH and became a full-time faculty member (1990- 1999) where he became an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery, and Maxillofacial Surgery. He then became Chair of Otolaryngology at the Lahey Clinic (2000-2009), followed by Chair of Surgery and VP of Surgical Services at Caritas/Steward Health Care (2009- 2012).


    Now Chief of Otolaryngology at SEMC, Professor of Otolaryngology at Tufts University, and Director of Rhinology fellowship (SEMC). Academically active with over 340 invited lectures, 25 book chapters, 95+ peer-reviewed publications, member of the editorial board of 7 medical journals.


    President and Founder of the Foundation for Innovation, Education and Research in Otolaryngology (2011-present), and organizer of two annual medical conferences, Open Forum US and ENT Summit in SE Asia.


    Dr Catalano has worked with numerous medical device companies to help develop and commercialize numerous minimally invasive surgical tools and techniques over the past 33 years of clinical practice.

Chetan Shah

    Dr. Chetan Shah is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He treats both children and adults. His special interests lie in medical as well as surgical management of Chronic Sinusitis (specializing in functional endoscopic sinus surgery without the need for packing the nose with gauze), vertigo / dizziness and balance disorders as well as hearing loss.
